Goals

This past weekend Dr. Cobb was talking about how ZHealth can help with any fitness goals you may have. That got me to thinking, “what are mine?” I have some things I want to accomplish, but I had never quantified them, and never made them in to SMART goals. What is a SMART goal?S = SpecificM = MeasurableA = AttainableR = RealisticT = Time-SensitiveI’ve seem other variations on the definition, but the idea remains the same. Without having a SMART goal, how can you ever feel as if you are progressing, and how can you direct your actions to get there? The fitness/wellness goals I want to achieve short-term are: get to my body composition target, do an unassisted pull-up, do a pistol, and be ready to re-pass my RKC snatch test in time for the Feb cert. I now need to spend some time making those goals SMART.What are your SMART goals? What is your plan to achieve them? Who do you have supporting you and acting as your coach and cheerleader?
